Our Mission 

To make Mechatronics the place where your voice is heard, your creativity is supported, and your university experience is elevated. 

Our 3 main responsibilities: 

1 Merchandise (Merch that you want to wear) 

Student-led logo contest → your designs, your identity. 

Wide variety: jerseys, varsity jackets, hoodies, quarter-zips, hats. (within budget) Hands-on project kits: take-home Mechatronics starter kits to tinker & learn. Collectible themed patches: earn them at events & heat-press them onto your gear. Contests & giveaways: win exclusive Tron merch. 

2 Club room (A place where you want to be) 

Free textbook borrowing system (students, discipline club sharing). 

Food-on-the-go station: purchase discounted snacks, caffeine, to-go meals Make the room ours: microwave, LED lights, portable speaker, beanbags, couches. Fun corner: ping pong, board games, Switch nights. 

Career board: postings for Mechatronics jobs, co-ops, and research opportunities. 

3 Volunteer & admin (Roles where you have fun) 

Volunteer perks: discounts on merch & free event entry. 

Balanced roles: clear hour limits → no burnout. 

Cross-university links: collaborations with Waterloo & other unis. 

Academic boosts: past exams, study guides, and prof-led review sessions.

Alumni mentorship: connect with past grads in industry & research. 

Organized digital hub: drive with project templates, academic notes & resources. Recognition system: spotlight volunteers every month.

We’re Daniel Tran and Ayman Sheikh; two Mechatronics students committed to making this discipline innovative, supportive, and fun. If I (Ayman) can literally carry Daniel, together we can handle carrying the weight of innovation and your voice for Mechatronics. We’ll bring energy, creativity, and accountability to build a community where every student feels heard and empowered.
