Sr. Executive Positions
President
The President represents the ESS to the Students, SU, Faculty, University, and public. They also manage the Executive Committee.
Vice President Academics and Services
The VP Academics and Services runs all services the ESS provides to engineering students, and coordinates the academic advocacy activities of the ESS.
Vice President of Communications
The VP Communications coordinates the publications, photography, branding, marketing, website and server of the ESS.
Vice President of External Relations
The VP External represents the ESS to a number of external groups. They chair the selection committees for delegations to ESS-sponsored conferences and competitions.
Vice President of Finance
The VP Finance oversees the annual ESS operating budget, manages the accounting department, and coordinates external student and student group funding on behalf of the Society.
Vice President of Internal Affairs
The VP Internal oversees all ESS volunteers and manages ESS operations, such as the GEER Store, ECERF Lockers, and merchandise.
Executive Assistant
The Executive Assistant works closely with the President to ensure all correspondence and meeting minutes are up-to-date and sent to the appropriate parties.
Vice President of Community
The VP Community is responsible for community building and social advocacy work. This includes the Engineering Art Show, Sustainability, Philanthropy, and Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Decolonization (EDID).
Vice President of Social Events
The VP Social Events is responsible for the ESS's marquee events, including GEER Week, Engineering Carnival, and Ski Trip.
