Academic Guidance Program (AGP) The Office of Academics and Services is excited to continue this program aimed to provide mentorship and peer networking opportunities for first and second-year students. More details are coming soon, stay tuned!
There are several resources available on-campus for Engineering students for their studies.
1. Engineering Student Success Centre:
As a first-year engineering student, you have access to free support to your first-year courses and midterm/final reviews. Refer to the ESSC main page for their hours and courses available.
2. Decima Robinson Support Centre:
You have access to TAs for support on your MATH courses. Please refer to their main page for their hours of operation.
3. CogniVolt
ESS Academics department is partnering with CogniVolt, an Engineering peer-tutoring service on-campus at the University of Alberta to provide one-on-one tutoring at flexible hours at an affordable rate and provide upper-year WIL (Work-Integrated Learning) experience and opportunities. CogniVolt is accepting students and hiring on a rolling-basis, please refer to their website for more details.
