What previous experience do you have in coordinating and scheduling large groups of people, and/or why do you think you would be able to perform this role well?

My most pertinent experience to the role is when I was president of my high school's rotary club last year. In that role, I would coordinate volunteers for initiatives, be responsible for scheduling and funding and a variety of other tasks, where I was able to excel and improve club performance. Another role is over the summer, when I was a shift lead with an Operations team at a summer camp. In this role, I would be responsible for training my subordinates, while also scheduling and coordinating for a larger group.

How do you plan to get people involved in volunteering for events?

To get people involved I plan to use lots of emailing and volunteering in order to promote volunteering as much as possible, making the ability to volunteer as accessible as possible. I would try my best to schedule and coordinate so that everyone gets the time that works best for them to further encourage volunteering.
