Saree Zaitoun

Vice President of Operations and Finance Candidate

Hi everyone, I’m Saree a 2nd year mechatronics and robotics engineering. Worked closely with a finance expert to develop accurate budgets for solar installation projects. Very excited for being involved in establishing the mechatronics club.

Student involvement

·       Actively engage mechatronics students and implement their feedback

Club room

·       Secure dedicated funds for a dedicated meeting space to allow hands-on projects, tool storage, and reliable project nights—supporting better learning and collaboration.

Financial controls

  • Implement two-signature approvals for large expenses

  • pre-approved purchase lists for consumables to prevent leakage and speed up small buys.

  • Post brief financial updates after each meeting or event so spending aligns with member expectations and commitments

Budget transparency

  • Commit to a public monthly budget snapshot with inflows, outflows, and current balance posted on the club’s channels to build trust and accountability.

  • Publish a budget overview for each event indicating expected costs, funding sources, and any surplus/deficit to keep members informed and engaged.

Sponsorship package

  • Launch a sponsorship deck with tiers including logo placement, workshop mentions, and demo day invites, then contact several local tech firms or machine shops per term.
