First Year Engineering Club
About
The FYEC is a representative body for first-year engineering students and is responsible for organizing various events aimed at facilitating a seamless social transition from high school to university. We sell study snacks in the clubroom (located on the 5th floor of the MecE building), which also serves as a fun hangout place to interact with the execs and other members of the Engineering Community. We also host a "Big End of Year Event" to celebrate the accomplishments of first-year students and organize puppy therapy sessions to help alleviate stress during exam season.
