About

Space Exploration Alberta Robotics (SPEAR) is a multidisciplinary group that provides students with the opportunity to contribute to the creation of robotics for space exploration applications. The group’s main objective is to design, fabricate, and operate in-house built deliverables for the purpose of competing in space inspired challenges on a national and international level. The main mission of SPEAR is to promote the Albertan Space industry, develop in-house manufactured technologies, and innovate in the realm of robotics and space exploration technologies. SPEAR hopes to focus on space experiential skills to supplement the knowledge obtained through lectures and seminars with industry applications for members interested in space exploration and technology development.
